Recentemente, comprei um mesa de centro. Hesitei por um tempo porque queria uma casa com mais espaço livre, mais minimalista talvez. Mas, com o tempo achei que tinha um vão na casa que pedia uma mesa de centro – para ficar aconchegante. Dai começou o drama, qual modelo, o tamanho, o estilo? Fiquei sonhando no Instagram e no Pinterest com modelos caríssimos, com materiais específicos, mas, decidi não me apressar porque acreditava que em algum momento acharia algo que ia se encaixar. Por um momento pensei em customizar um móvel mas, deixei passar. Queria algo vintage, com caráter, mas é verdade que o confinamento aqui não permitiu explorar lojas… Então, comecei a procurar no novo normal: os perfis de venda de usados do Instagram.
Já tinha comprado um enfeite assim, mas ainda não tinha arriscado um móvel e é verdade que nesse formato, a concorrência é dura e um objeto pode ser vendido em minutos. Então, fui levando até que encontre a belezura que falou comigo. Uma mesa cinza laqueada ou resinada (não se sabe) atípica, mas ao mesmo tempo simples. Combinando com a cor do tapete.
Corre para medir, pensa no valor, na taxa de entrega, reflete rápido, vai vender, corre, reserva, manda mensagem privada, aguarda a resposta, um minuto igual 4 horas de espera. Consegui! É minha. Ai, será que vai ser boa? Será que vai combinar? Será que está em bom estado?
Alguns dias depois chegou e para decorar me inspirei um pouco em lojas que eu gosto e naquelas mesas de livraria, sabe? Mas, também achei no Pinterest umas dicas legais sobre organização e a altura dos objetos que realmente fazem uma diferença.
Me acostumei tão bem com a mesa de centro que não lembro mais como era antes ou porque demorei tanto para ter uma!

I wanted something vintage, with character, but it is true that the confinement rules did not allow me to explore stores … So, I started looking in the new normal: Instagram’s vintage furniture profiles.
I had already bought an ornament over Instagram, but I had not yet risked a piece of furniture and it is true that in this format, competition is tough and an object can be sold in minutes. So, I kept going until I found the beauty that would speak to me. An atypical gray lacquered or resin table (idk), but at the same time simple. Matching the exactly color of the living room rug.
Let’s measure it quick, let’s think about the price, the delivery rate, quickly, it will sell fast, run, reserve it, send a private message, wait for the response, a minute equal to 4 hours of waiting. I got it! It’s mine. Oh, will it be good? Will it match the rest? Is it in good condition?
A few days later it arrived and to decorate I got a little inspired by stores that I like and by those bookstore tables, you know? But, I also found on Pinterest some cool tips on organization of objects that really makes a difference (attention to the height of the objects).
I got used to the coffee table so well that I no longer remember what it was like before or why it took me so long to have one!
