Interview / Entrevista: Kevin Elezaj

Kevin Elezaj is an Austrian guy living in Berlin where he started his lifestyle and fashion blog. We found him while browsing the search tool on Instagram and we couldn’t help but be amazed by his aesthetics and minimalist looks. With a very cool street style and great photos, another aspect that called our attention is the hair evolution of Kevin. By checking out his timeline, you can see how bold he is, playing with different colors and haircuts – definitely not afraid. It was also on Instagram that we contacted Kevin and he agreed to answer our 9 questions just confirming what his photos show: that he is a really nice guy that loves to express himself through fashion.

1. What is fashion for you and how/why did you start in this field as a content creator/Influencer?

Very very important. It is such a big wide field and it definitely knows no limits. I think it is because of that I started it and it is still my biggest interest. It just never gets boring and I need this thrill. 

2. What are your daily essentials that you carry with you?
   

It depends when I’m on the way to the gym or to work somewhere else then it is a backpack. And most of the time I wear sneakers.

3. You change your hairstyle a lot and it’s great. How do you take care of your hair and what was the change you liked most?

To be honest, I don’t really care a lot for them. Just washing them 3-4 times a week and sometimes I put in an oil called “Öl Maguiqe“ from L’Oreal. I don’t use a hair straightener, I think that’s the worst you can do! As for the change I liked the most I must say the blond hair because I didn’t expect that it would fit me that well.

4. What are your key pieces? And what are your tips for buying well on a budget? (Tell us some favorite stores?)

Key pieces? Sneakers, Suit Pants, Shirts.

Buying on a budget? That’s hard to say because I buy clothes very rarely. I think COS has one of the best cost effectiveness!

5. What were the most important achievements of your blogger/influencer life?

That I can do it full-time now!

6. Your favorite social network and why? And what are the blogs/sites or vloggers that inspire you (that you follow)?

Well, probably it is Instagram. Still, the platform where most of the people are active. But the most I get inspired by is Tumblr. It gives me ideas for fashion, photography, tattoos, interior design etc.

7. How do you think the influencer market will change in the coming years and What are your tips for those starting on this adventure?

I think it is still increasing. So many brands only starting now to understand the big value of influencer marketing. Many people ask me for tips and I always ask them if they’re ready to live for it. It’s hard for me because I didn’t have a plan by myself, it was just my biggest passion and I never stopped.

8. What are your “to-go places” in Berlin, give us your guide to the city! And what is the first place that comes to your mind when you want to travel?

In Berlin, mostly it is Mitte, all around Torstr. Here are most of those “hipster“ places and cafés.

About traveling, that’s super hard to answer because I have so many destinations on my list. The most fascinating city I’ve ever been is still New York.

9. How do you see your blogger/influencer life evolving?

My personality grew with each new human I got to know on my way. My life started to get more and more quality, which is, of course, one purpose I have. If I just have to talk about my work, then, of course, it is a better quality of photos and a better understanding of the business.

1. O que é moda para você e como / por que você iniciou neste campo como um criador de conteúdo / Influenciador?

Muito muito importante. É um campo muito grande e definitivamente não conhece limites. Eu acho que é por isso que eu comecei e ainda é o meu maior interesse. Isso nunca fica chato e eu preciso dessa emoção.

2. Quais são os seus itens essenciais diários que você carrega com você?

Depende, quando estou a caminho da academia ou trabalhar em outro lugar, é uma mochila. E na maioria das vezes eu uso tênis.

3. Você muda muito seu penteado e é ótimo. Como você cuida seu cabelo e qual foi a mudança que você mais gostou?

Para ser sincero, eu realmente não me importo muito com eles. Basta lavá-los 3-4 vezes por semana e às vezes coloco um óleo chamado “Öl Maguiqe” da L’Oreal. Eu não uso um alisador de cabelo, acho que é o pior que você pode fazer! Quanto à mudança que eu mais gostei, devo dizer o cabelo loiro, porque não esperava que isso me corresponderia tão bem.

4. Quais são as peças-chave? E quais são suas dicas para comprar bem com um orçamento? (Conte-nos algumas lojas favoritas?)

Peças-chave? Sapatilhas, calças de terno, camisas.

Comprando um orçamento? Isso é difícil de dizer, porque eu compro roupas raramente. Eu acho que a COS tem uma das melhores rentabilidades!

5. Quais foram as realizações mais importantes de sua vida de blogger / influenciador?

Que eu posso fazer isso em tempo integral agora!

6. Sua rede social favorita e por quê? E quais são os blogs / sites ou vloggers que o inspiram (você segue)?

Bem, provavelmente é Instagram. Ainda é a plataforma onde a maioria das pessoas está ativa. Mas o máximo que eu me inspiro é o Tumblr. Isso me dá idéias para moda, fotografia, tatuagens, design de interiores etc.

7. Como você acha que o mercado influenciador mudará nos próximos anos e quais são suas dicas para aqueles que começam nesta aventura?

Eu acho que ainda está aumentando. Muitas marcas só começam agora a entender o grande valor do marketing de influenciadores. Muitas pessoas me pedem dicas e sempre pergunto se elas estão prontas para viver por isso. É difícil para mim porque eu não tinha um plano sozinho, era apenas minha maior paixão e nunca parei.

8. Quais são os seus “lugares para ir” em Berlim, nos dê seu guia para a cidade! E qual é o primeiro lugar que vem à sua mente quando você quer viajar?

Em Berlim, na maior parte é Mitte, ao redor de Torstr. Aqui estão a maioria desses lugares e cafés “hipster”.

Sobre travlling, isso é muito difícil de responder porque eu tenho tantos destinos na minha lista. A cidade mais fascinante que já estive é ainda Nova York.

9. Como você vê sua vida de blogger / influenciador em evolução?

Minha personalidade cresceu com cada novo humano que eu conheci no meu caminho. Minha vida começou a obter mais e mais qualidade, o que é, é claro, um propósito que eu tenho. Se eu tiver que falar sobre o meu trabalho, é claro que é uma melhor qualidade de fotos e uma melhor compreensão do negócio.
